SEQRA
When a specific statute such as Article VII or Article 10 do not apply to energy development projects, the State Environmental Quality Review Act (“SEQRA”) often governs the process. The Firm is working with wind, solar, and energy storage projects, helping them in the SEQRA review process. The Firm works with clients at all stages of SEQRA, including preparation of environmental assessments, designations of lead agencies, and environmental impact statements. We have successfully helped clients secure the necessary SEQRA and permit approvals for several gas-fired facilities. In addition, the Firm represented the lead agency in SEQRA matters for the retirement of the Glenwood Power Station.
