Tyler W. Wolcott graduated cum laude from Albany Law School of Union University in 2015. Mr. Wolcott was a law clerk at Read and Laniado while in law school and became an associate after graduating law school. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2016.

While in law school, Mr. Wolcott served as a student editor of, and contributed to, The New York Environmental Lawyer, and was a member of the Albany Law Journal of Science and Technology. He also served as a teaching assistant for torts. Additionally, Mr. Wolcott interned for the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Office of Hearings and Mediation Services, where he researched and wrote bench memoranda for the chief administrative law judge and assisted in administrative hearings.

Mr. Wolcott and Mr. Laniado had their article, Siting Transmission Lines For New York Offshore Wind Projects, published in Environmental Law in New York, Volume 28, Number 8 (2017).

Mr. Wolcott is engaged in many aspects of the Read and Laniado’s practice, including energy, utility, land use, and environmental law.
